The Haverford Dragons just managed to edge Concord Revolution 3-2 today in a thrilling contest which saw Concord suffer from a lack of substitutes and consequently surrender its perfect spring record.
Concord had earlier beaten West Chester United 4-0, but it was the Dragons which took the early advantage courtesy a strike from Noah Cordrey from six yards after Conor Bradley's industry down the right side opened the Concord defense.
In a battle which raged throughout the match, Bradley used his trickery to carry well down the right side and forced the Concord back line to collapse on him near the endline.
Bradley was briefly dispossessed of the ball but got stuck in and regained control before firing in a low cross which was right on Cordrey's foot.
