Tough Start Due To Penalty, York Wins

The match against York United got off to a less-than-favorable start when a dubious penalty was awarded inside the first five minutes of the contest.

Senan Farrelley looked to have made a valid challenge to the ball, tracking back well to cover a York attacker who was screaming into the penalty area, when shoulder contact sent the forward to the ground.

The referee did not hesitate and pointed to the spot, where the kick was converted.
