Ryan Brown was able to increase Haverford's advantage when he converted cooly from the penalty spot in the 15th minute after himself drawing the foul on the right side of the penalty area.
Brown's quick cutting with the ball at his feet was causing the Lower Merion defense trouble, and it was one such cut which resulted in the trip which sent Brown to the spot.
Haverford was enjoying the majority of the pressure, but Lower Merion was not without its forays into its attacking third, and Danny Lyons had to remain alert in the Dragons' goal.
Noah Cordrey then got on the score sheet as well in the 21st minute with a lofted left-footed strike which he produced while in traffic from just inside the 18 yard line.
