Dragons, As U-13s, Runners Up At Ridley

The Haverford Dragons finished as runners-up in the Ridley Invitational one-day tournament Saturday, losing 1-nil to the hosts in a close contest which could have gone either way.

In fact the Dragons, who were playing up in the U-13 age group, had several decent chances, including a corner kick in the last minute of the final match which Noah Cordrey nearly directed goalward with a glancing header.

In the end, Ridley United managed to keep Haverford at bay, holding onto their slender lead.
