Haverford's Few Chances Fall By Wayside

Chernitsky came close to getting a good foot on the ball, but it eluded him, and the chance went by the wayside.

Conor Bradley also had generated what looked to be a genuine chance at the close of the first half, but Nether's defense held firm, and Haverford's appeals for a handball in the penalty area went unheeded by the official.

The second half began with a bit of promise for the Dragons, as they seemed to have found a modest measure of ambition during the break, but Nether was disciplined to keep its shape and snuff out any potential threats.
