Dragons Stave Off Late PSC Fightback

PSC then clawed their way back into the match when they converted from the penalty spot in the 45th minute and cut the Dragons' lead to 4-3.

Haverford struggled on defense thereafter and nearly gave up the equalizer when a defender headed the ball behind himself and toward the goal. Fortunately for Haverford the ball sailed just wide of the post, as Cordrey could not have reached it.

A flurry of PSC pressure in the box continued right to the final whistle despite PSC being reduced to 10 players through injury.

However, Haverford maintained its composure and breathed a sigh of relief that they had halted their skid of losses.
