The Haverford Dragons dropped a tough match to West Chester United today as a promising start gave way to disappointment and a 4-2 loss.
The Dragons held a 2-nil lead early in the second half, but a series of unfortunate events which included fatigue, missed chances and dodgy officiating saw that lead erased, and then dwarfed by United's attack.
Haverford had started brightly, going ahead 1-nil in the eighth minute courtesy a looping ball from Ricky Collings which eluded the West Chester keeper.
