Peter Moore’s long-range heroics lifted the Dragons to a 3-2 victory at Lionville Sunday, as Haverford twice came from behind before Moore tallied his first goal for the team to ensure all the points would go to the Dragons.
The win was hard fought and gritty, made all the sweeter for the resolve the team showed in fighting back.
Moore was joined on the scoresheet by Danny Lyons and Conor Bradley; Lyons grabbing the team’s first before taking a turn in net during the second half.
