The Haverford Dragons will feel they got less than they deserved today when undefeated Lionville visited and claimed the victory through a lucky goal which bounced in over Haverford's keeper in the second half.
The goal came from a counter attack as Lionville broke quickly against the run of play and, from the middle of the park well outside the 18, an attacker launched a high ball which bounced once and then into the Dragons' net.
The Dragons had more chances during the remainder of the match, but were unable to convert despite strong pressure on Lionville's keeper.
