Both Conor Bradley and Connor Higgins had chances sail just over the bar in the first half. Patrick Hegarty's opportunity also looked promising as he received a through ball to the right side and caught the Methacton defense lagging.
Noah Cordrey's pass found Hegarty in space, and after making a move to avoid the defender, Hegarty was in a position to shoot.
As the Methacton keeper came off his line to challenge, Hegarty had to rush, and the ball rolled just wide of the left post.
Not long after that foray into the attacking third, the Dragons were pressed on defense in the 22nd minute.
