Methacton attacked quickly down the left, and _ using speed _ forced Lyons to race of his line. The Methacton attacker was able to get off his shot, and it looked to be headed in, but Peter Moore came to the rescue.
Moore's quick thinking resulted in his being in position to clear the line and preserve the clean sheet.
The Dragon's back line of Ryan Kelly and Shane Bradley were working well to deny the Methacton forwards, and they got great help in the midfield from Ryan Brown and Senan Farrely.
As the match wore on through the second half, it seemed that one goal could well be the difference.
Both teams were becoming more physical, and they had to fight harder for quality scoring chances.
