But the Radnor forward saw his left-footed effort glance off the outside of the near post, and Haverford escaped what looked to be the deciding goal which would have handed them their first loss.
The Dragons regrouped, and put pressure of their own on the Radnor keeper just before the end of the match, but they could not manage the breakthrough.
