Lyons could only watch as Haverford's failure to shut down the Lionville forward gave enough time for a well-placed lofted ball to sail inside the back post.
Haverford struggled to create opportunities of their own and the match remained 1-nil at the break.
But the team took to heart Coach Bradley's half-time talk and came out with spark in the second half.
Where Lionville had taken the game by the scruff of the neck in the opening session, it was Haverford who seized control after the break, as they earned a corner within the first minute.
